Edge view

In a 3D view, orients the view to the selected face of the element

1. Go to any 3D view
2. Click on the icon of the «View by face» function
3. Select a face of the element

Useful when you need to create a selection frame in a 3D view with rotation along the edge of the selected element, including elements from links.

Face Selection Box

In the 3D view, orients the selection box to the selected face of the element

1. Go to any 3D view
2. Click on the icon of the "Face selection box" function
3. Select the face of the element

Useful when in a 3D view you need to look at an element perpendicular to any selected plane.

Selection Box rotation

In the 3D view, orients the selection box to the selected face of the element.

1. Go to any 3D view
2. Click on the icon of the "Face selection box" function
3. Select the face of the element. Only vertical faces are available for selection.
